Balayage Maintenance: Keep the Glow Longer

Balayage is loved for its soft, grown-out look, but the right care keeps the tone beautiful. Start with a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo and cool rinses to close the cuticle and lock in pigment.

A purple or blue shampoo, used once a week, neutralises unwanted warmth. Alternate with a hydrating formula so the hair does not become dry. Deep conditioning every two weeks helps maintain lightened ends.

Glossing appointments every 6-8 weeks refresh the tone without re-lightening. This is the secret to that expensive, salon-fresh finish. Heat protection before blow-drying or styling prevents further fading.

With consistent home care and regular glossing, balayage can look stunning for three to four months between lightening sessions.
